Fred is an incredible little boy with a big heart and a courageous spirit. At a young age, he has already overcome more than most. After spending four years in foster care, Fred was welcomed into a loving, permanent home when he was adopted by the mother of his two older sisters. Now, he is one of four children being raised by a dedicated single mother who is doing everything she can to provide a safe, nurturing home for them all. Fred is diagnosed with autism and, every day, he works hard to overcome the challenges that come with both his diagnosis and the effects of early childhood trauma. His strength and resilience are inspiring -- he continues to grow, adapt, and thrive, even when things aren't easy. Fred is doing wonderfully in school and has a bright, curious mind. He loves playing soccer, spending time outdoors, and using his imagination with army men and superhero figures. Whether he's running around outside or creating exciting adventures for his toys, Fred brings joy and energy to those around him. He's also a kind and loyal friend who values connection and play. A gift this holiday season -- something to encourage his love of imaginative play or help him enjoy the outdoors -- would mean so much to Fred and his family.
