Since 2023 alone, Sydney has experienced over 20 placements. She has also endured the loss of loved ones, including parents and guardians. Sydney is currently living with her grandmother, who is providing her with stability and care. She faces sensory processing challenges that make it difficult for her to function comfortably in certain environments, particularly at school. Despite these challenges, Sydney is a bright and creative child with many interests. She finds slime especially calming and enjoys activities such as reading, doing word searches, making crafts, playing with Barbies, and exploring the world of Minecraft.
