Christian and his mom have had quite a year filled with big transitions. After spending time in several shelters, they recently secured an apartment of their own and are working hard to make it feel like home. Christian loves gaming online with friends; it's one of his favorite pastimes and a way for him to relax and connect with others. Recently, he became very ill, and the family had to stretch their limited budget to cover medications and other needs while he recovered.
