Roland is a 10-year-old boy who was adopted at a young age by a member of his extended family. Roland faces ongoing challenges related to his early medical history. Roland lives with his adoptive parents and older adoptive sister. One of his parents struggles with significant physical health issues and is unable to work, while the other works multiple jobs to support the family. The family often rely on food banks to meet basic needs. Still, Roland's family is known for their generosity; they are the kind of people who would give the shirt off their backs to help someone in need. Over the years, they have opened their home to family and friends in crisis, offering shelter and support to help others get back on their feet. Approximately two and a half years ago, Roland experienced a traumatic loss when his grandfather died suddenly in front of him and the rest of the family. This loss continues to affect him deeply, especially around the anniversary of the event. The family would appreciate any help in making Roland's Christmas special this year.
