Rowan has been diagnosed with autism and faces challenges in expressing his emotions and thoughts. To better support his needs, Rowan's mother began homeschooling him, which has worked out well. Rowan is a bright, curious child who loves to learn. His mother takes him to the library weekly and regularly meets with other homeschooling families to encourage socialization. Because of Rowan's needs, his mother is unable to work. While this allows her to focus on homeschooling, it also makes finances tight.
