Tara is a curious and creative 9-year-old who lives with her mother and four brothers in her aunt’s home. She loves science and enjoys doing experiments at home, like making goo, even if it gets a little messy. Tara is also very interested in clothing design and dreams of making her own clothes and jewelry. While she sometimes struggles with mental health challenges and feels left out of her brothers’ activities, she is learning to express herself and build confidence through what her mother calls her ‘goth phase.’ Tara is a good student who is very engaged in her classes, even if she sometimes gets a little over-excited.
