Lily is a compassionate and creative 15-year-old who lives with her mother in Alton. After her aunt’s family lost their home, Lily and her mother welcomed them in, and Lily has taken on the role of an excellent caretaker for her four cousins, three of whom are on the autism spectrum. She enjoys helping her cousins and hopes to work with individuals with special needs when she grows up. Although Lily faces some mental health challenges that can make peer interactions difficult, she is very sociable and has strong relationships with her family and friends. She is a hardworking student who does well in school. Lily loves animals and hopes to volunteer at an animal rescue. She is also very creative—she enjoys drawing, writing, journaling, and listening to music to unwind. A talented writer and artist, Lily also loves reading murder mysteries in her free time.”
